Gadi Rosenthal

Economist, Environment and Water specialist

Gadi has many years of experience in agricultural and environmental economics. He formerly served as the chief economist for the Kibbutz Movement and as a senior economist at Hevrat HaOvdim and the Koor holding company. He taught at the Rupin College and is a member of multiple public committees on agriculture and water. He currently teaches at the Faculty of Agriculture and is the director of several commercial companies, in addition to his consultation work which is his primary occupation.

He is the owner of Kivun, a company that works with Zenovar, and coordinates the company’s water, agricultural and environmental expertise.

Examples of his work include:

  • Consultation for the national investigation committee to assess the water and sewage sector in Israel
  • Environment Strategy for the Water Sector in Israel for the coalition of green organizations
  • Consultant for the CEO committee on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Israel, as part of the Neaman Institution group at the Technion
  • Produced several policy documents for the Ministry of Environmental Protection and for urban and regional corporations on reforms in solid waste policies in Israel

Member of a team that produced an environment policy program for the Israeli energy sector for the Israel Energy Forum and the EU
